  5.          ■   1stReader 1.10 would not recognize a DeLuxe² DELUXE2.KEY
  6.              file preventing our 15,000+ registered DeLuxe owners from
  7.              registering 1stReader electronically for only $5.00.
  8.              Fixed.
  9.  
  10.          ■   If you tried to use the telecommunication section without
  11.              turning on your modem then 1stReader would hang - waiting
  12.              for the modem to return an "OK".  Now the reader will not
  13.              attempt to transmit data if your modem isn't turned ON.
  14.  
  15.          ■   If you had turned on the "4DOS" switch then 1stReader
  16.              would not translate @variables inside .BTM files.  Fixed.
  17.  
  18.          ■   If you replied to a FIDO-sourced message 1stReader would
  19.              not leave a 100% compliant FIDO tagline.  Fixed.
  20.  
  21.          ■   Go into the tagline management section and press SHIFT+I
  22.              to insert a new tagline.  The system would hang requiring
  23.              a reset.  Fixed.
  24.  
  25.          ■   Added a new command line switch "/DAY:".  This switch will
  26.              let you run 1stReader on certain days of the week (1=Sun,
  27.              2=Mon, etc).  For example, the command "1ST /DAY:135" would
  28.              execute 1stReader on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.  Great
  29.              for sysops who use 1stReader to make their nightly mail
  30.              runs.

  32.         ■    Fixed various minor bugs in NEWFILES.EXE.  For example, if
  33.              you viewed a new files list from a KMAIL or MARKMAIL door
  34.              then you would see the list of new files twice.  Also, if
  35.              you selected the "HELP" button from the "Manual tags"
  36.              section the help would not be displayed.  Fixed.

  43.              from The United States of America and Canada!  Just use
  44.              the ordering system provided at the end of the program.
  45.              And you can download your keyfile and begin using
  46.              1stReader tonite.  No waiting!!!

  48.              Our registration fee is still only $25 (US funds).
  49.              Compare the features list below to any other offline mail
  50.              system available today.  Most mail readers require you
  51.              to register other utilities (like terminal programs and
  52.              file archivers) in order to use their systems.  Not with
  53.              1stReader!  We give you EVERYTHING you need.  With other

  77.              messages per folder and you can have as many folders
  78.              as you wish.  Unlimited!!!

  81.              own replies to them at any time.  You can even have
  82.              1stReader automatically save your own replies into a
  83.              folder for future reference - without one keystroke
  84.              required by you.

  87.              user (and you can attach your own personal comments).

  89.          ■   Fast bookmarks!  If you access a mail packet that was
  90.              received from a Qmail Door system, PCBoard 15.0's new
  91.              internal QWK module, or eSoft's QSO module for TBBS (or
  92.              any mail system taking advantage of our QWK/2 packet
  93.              format), then inserting a bookmark is a breeze!

  95.          ■   1stReader saves your bulletins and new files lists so you
  96.              can consult them at any time, even without having mail
  97.              packets on file.

  100.              terminal communications system.  There is no need to use
  101.              other communications products to transfer your messages
  102.              and files.  Everything is built into the system and is
  103.              seamless.  A full scripting language is available too.

  116.              your use.  And our QUNZIP module is 100% compatible with

  120.              money) in order to use 1stReader (unlike some other mail
  121.              readers out there today).  We've got it all...

  123.          ■   Our internal editor is fast and easy.  You can import files
  124.              into your replies, quick and easy quoting is available, and
  125.              even accents are provided (by pressing ALT+A).  But if you
  126.              don't like our own editor, use your favorite text editor
  127.              with 1stReader.  We support up to 100 external editors at
  128.              one time from within 1stReader!

  130.          ■   Internal file viewers and ANSI file viewers are included.
  131.              The BEST ANSI reader on the market (sez Joe Malacria, Da
  132.              ANSI Phreak).  1stReader features auto-ANSIART detection
  133.              and 43/50 line ANSI art modes.  We even tries to 'sniff
  134.              out' those ANSI messages that do not include the [ANSIART]
  135.              label...

  137.          ■   1stReader now supports .GIF and .NAP (NAPLPS) graphics
  138.              formats.  You can view a .GIF or .NAP file from within
  139.              1stReader's file manager by simply selecting the file.
  140.              We also allow sysops to use .GIF and .NAP files as their
  141.              welcome/news/bulletins files within 1stReader too.

  143.          ■   Sound Blaster support!  1stReader fully supports multimedia
  144.              through a Sound Blaster (or compatible) sound card.  Now
  145.              you can hear voices, music or sound effects.  Sound support
  146.              included for .VOC, .CMF and .MID files.  All of these files
  147.              will play through your sound card (.CMF and .MID files are
  148.              supported through 'AdLib' or compatible cards).

  150.              More than just a gimmick, some bulletin board systems can
  151.
